Do You Work Weekends?

For some of us, Monday represents the start of a new week. For others, Monday might as well be Wednesday or Friday or Saturday, since the days just blend together.
There is always something to do in the lab. Completing one experiment usually just means there are now two more to do, as new questions arise or troubleshooting is required. Some professions rely heavily on other services that are only available from 8am – 6pm during weekdays. Lab is not one of these. Taking time off on the weekend can be a needed mental break, but it can also be accompanied by a nagging feeling that we could be setting up “just one more experiment…”
